I believe that too, but I question his resolve.

When push comes to shove, he'll have to make some decisions that even Biden warned will be "unpopular." And I think with the deeply-entrenched politics in Washington these days, push may come to shove more often than even Obama could handle.

To his credit, Obama has shown a steady hand under pressure, as many in the media have pointed out. But to be honest, I don't think it really has been that tough for Obama. Except when he took on Hillary. That was quite an accomplishment.
