its exactly like Vietnam too with no clear military objective. A "war on terror", ok how do we win that exactly? How do we know we are doing a good job, underfunding overfunding what have you? People that support this lamebrain "war on terror" say we haven't had a terrorist attack in 8 years- talk about a STRAW MAN. You could also say that under Clinton we foiled a terrorist attack coming into Seattle from Canada on Y2K, does that mean Clinton's "war on terror" was better than Bush's because we actually CAUGHT somebody? Because the Clinton "war on terror" cost NOTHING and Bush's almost bankrupted us. 911 caught us offguard and for a variety of reasons won't happen again. The easiest thing to catch are immigrants coming in from ME countries, putting a lot of scrutiny on that is a lot easier than going to war in the ME.
