:-)
I'm in a crabby mood too!

How amazing we have that in common.

I'm in a crabby mood because everyone ELSE gets to stay home and have fun, and I have to go to a teacher work day and learn how to use a new data crunching program- which I know I will find stressful. I was perfectly happy with the old data crunching program, but apparently not enough people used it. Well, let me tell you, if they think changing the software is going to make people more interested in using it, they've got another think coming. Why, one might even say they are wack jobs for thinking that. There. Happy?

Actually I used whack because I assumed it meant someone who flailed at stuff unthinkingly. I never even thought of wacky. That's worse though. So she's nuts! Yikes.

I have spent months trying to change people's use of "nauseum". It's nauseAAAAAAAAAAm. I think they figure Latin needs a UM or something. But it's the feminine accusative. AMAMAMAMAMAMAM.
Homonyms don't bother me as much since I occasionally use them when I am thinking ahead of my fingers.

That and the wrong usage of 'effect' and 'affect' drive me insane.

This thread is one of the best for grammar and spelling though- not to mention coherent thought.
