Drove from Nevada across to the Bay area yesterday, with an eye on gas prices. The best US Gallon priced out at $2.79 in Gardnerville, NV. On the Calif side of the Sierras, we saw $2.75 in Jackson, $2.59 in Lockford, $2.19 near Stockton, then back up to $2.99 in San Jose. Clearly gas has declined significantly but how long will it stay the course ? How do these prices compare to other parts of the country ? Price check anyone ?
