Obama will get a 90 day grace period from the electorate. If no progress is made during that time in improving the economic/foreign policy landscape, most Americans will quickly turn on him and the Democrats. I agree with much of what you say but his grace period will be longer than 90 days from his supporters. From Republicans, he will have no grace period.
