I think the magic number for DEMS would be 59, 'cause moderate Republican Snow in Maine might well be forced by her constituents to switch parties or at least vote on the DEM side--that is if she wins which, barring an Obama landslide, is probable.! Note the McConnell is weakening and an Obama surge could wipe him out -- which would be better than very good!!!
