No, Democrats worked hard to stop practices like red lining. They understand that home ownership is a good thing which Republikans interpret to mean fraudulent lending practices is a good way to make lots of money you didn't earn. Republikans worked hard to separate actions from their consequences...this is typical Republikan behavior...zero responsibility for them, total responsibility for everyone else. Republikans worked hard to get rid of regulation and practices such as separating commercial from investment banks which now means investment banks scurry to become regulated commercial banks...weird consequences huh? You guys can't pin this on the 2008 version of willie horton no matter how racist you think your base is. Everyone knows that Republikans encourage this kind of sloppy behavior. You guys own this fiasco.
