I agree, Sam. I can see the opposite happening, perhaps, in a beefing up of the 401K program. This program benefits the middle class as much as anything out there, and Obama has clearly stated his goal of building up the middle class. Considering the low savings rate in the country, I would think that Dems would be exploring ways to make the 401K program even more attractive than it is now.

I sure hope the Democrats don't renege on existing 401Ks, IRAs, etc. I do worry that a landslide election result might be taken as a mandate for excessive radical change ...
