You aren't making any sense. Are you for reducing all government just to the point of preventing societal collapse?

I'm asking why you are focusing on milk supports. Is that a big cost to government? I don't know about milk supports, too many people are lactose intolerant anyway. I don't like support for corn because corn and its myriad of fractions are, I believe, bad for our health in very many ways. It gets into the meat, it gets into every processed food under the sun and it makes high fructose corn syrup. I think these things lead to chronic illnesses like diabetes and obesity and heart disease and lead to both misery and increased health care costs which are approaching 20% of GDP.

That is why I dislike support for monocultures like corn in addition to what they do to the environment. Why do you dislike milk supports and how much of a big deal are they? Why focus on milk specifically and does that include cheese? I like cheese, it is an entire food group unto itself - that is a joke.

SS is a self-funding program. That people steal from it to pay other bills is not the fault of SS. It is the fact that SS is successful that causes such theft. It is insurance against excessive poverty in old age. If the rich become very poor their insurance means more. McCain takes SS, it's not like he's sending it back even though the McCains make $5million/year.

Progressive taxation does not mean punishing the creation of wealth - you keep engaging in hyperbole. Progressive taxation
means to increase the rate as income increases nothing more or less. Progressive taxation is the adult taxation system. It understands the reality of money and power and seeks to prevent the excess accumulation of either by any individual or small group.

Flat tax structures and regressive tax structures are reserved for the teenagers' view of the world we live in. Even with progressive taxation such as it is, the ultrarich keep becoming ultra richer while the middle class wage falls behind inflation.

Eliminating the regressive nature of SS now still means that higher income earners won't have to make up for their lack of paying their fair share for years. That's a heck of a deal for them. I don't know why you enjoy promoting lack of fairness.

Honestly, you guys won't be happy until you are paying zero in taxes but still receiving all the benefits.

Life expectancy is probably not going up much and, in fact, may be peaking and may even turn backwards. It has taken some adjustment to realize that 55 probably isn't a good retirement age. We understand that now and can plan accordingly.

Watch for youtube link to interview with Senator Robert Menendez
that was just aired with Neil Cavuto. It was the most frustrating disingenuous interview I can recall for a long time. These politicians really are arrogant and dishonest and they in no way serve us.

If someone does catch it, will you please post it. I must send this one on...
