I like salmon patties but am tired of the old cracker, eggwhite things that everyone makes. Anyone have something better ?

I purchase it at grocery stores. The first time I used too much, it is strong...a restaurant I frequent uses it in their bean soup and that is how I learned about it. No more cubes for me.
