I hope I'm wrong, but I think support for the U.S. govt will be waning in many quarters in the near future.

Relax, Neeka. For all of our fears, I think Obama will govern from the middle. A very smart, cautious man who wants to succeed. We have him down as a wide-eyed radical, but that's not where he will come from.

He used the extreme Left and the Blacks to move up the ladder. Once he got the nomination he moved to the middle. I think he will use his overseas honeymoon to let things settle there.

He will do a "Clinton triangulation" here. He will govern to the "right" of Pelosi/Reid.

I'm not kidding about the ammo.

I'd recommend people stock up if they have guns. Ammo is about to increase in cost quite a bit, and violence is about to increase quite a bit too.

Obama said "I won't take your guns."

I believe him.

He'll just take the ammo, or make it prohibitively expensive. He'll also put limits on interstate transportation of firearms. . Want to buy a pistol from a FFL holder in Colorado? Fuggetabout it.

A concealed carry permit issued by Washington State is good in Idaho, Montana and South Dakota. Obama can, with the stroke of a pen, invalidate that through ATF regulations.

Be afraid, be very afraid.
