I am a huge fan of David Brooks. Even Blinder the economist and lover of free trade has stated that the US needed to do something to stem the offshoring of jobs in this decade. For 8 years straight we have created approx half of the jobs necessary for maintenance of the nation. HALF. Had it not been for the massive 5 trillion debt spending, we probably would have had NEGATIVE job creation in this decade, seriously. This is a serious problem we have never faced before. Republicans ignored it and changed fast food worker designations to "manufacturing". This jobs crisis is also killing tax receipts. No action from republicans, a travesty
