are you being naive or disingenuous here? be honest now!
Not many cases where eminent domain made a project profitable for residents (propertied and otherwise). PLENTY of cases where such projects (private as well as public; some with merit and others dubious) enriched the few at the expense of many. Perhaps you and your neighbors should petition to have a low level nuclear disposal facility put into your community so that it may benefit from the ensuing eminent domain windfall as well as the relative ease with which you could meet your radioactive disposal needs...
