Ted, > I wonder how good a mayor he is. I think he's a very energetic, enthusiastic, and ambitious politician. Don't know what the local problems were in San Francisco, but I'm sure the residents there have their own ways of dealing with them. However, there is talk of him running for governor in 2010. Since he's already tossed in his chips with the San Francisco liberals, I don't know how well he'll do in a larger context where he has to impress moderates and conservatives across the state.
