Dear Leigh,

I was very pleased with 3rd Q results. What impresses me most is the favorable market backdrop in coated paper, and pulp. Pulp has increased in price from a range of about 515 per metric tonn to 610-650 per metric tons. Repap benefits as a producer here.

Second, $80 per ton increase in paper (ie, reduced discounts) has helped increase profitability for Repap.

Third,, the're sold out for 4Q..

No doubt recent sale of Repap USA will help draw down LT debit further.

Cost measures focusing on anther 20 million.

The stock actually closed a touch lower today; however, volume way up to almost 800M.

I bought today......and very much predict 15 Million operating profit 4th Q or more. With one time charges out of the way, and a higher price for shipments during this coming quarter, I see Black on the books. This should not be too difficult for the Street to see, and I expect the value of our shares to FINALLY SEE SOME UPWARD MOVEMENT!!

Repap also has outstanding quality, and world class machines...your thoughts??? Anyone??
