Allen,

Very well said.

<<I disagree with Lieberman about a lot of things. Endorsing John McCain is definitely one of them.

But I respect the fact that he doesn't let either the Democratic or Republican parties dictate his positions. I believe he is a man of principle.

I think we should applaud Lieberman for his independence, instead of criticizing or punishing him for "disloyalty." Whether I think he is wrong or right, I think he has put his country first. We should be so lucky with every member of Congress.>>

Neal

Ah, a disagreement. I don't, however, disagree with that point as stated. The point that troubles me is the way he campaigned for McCain. Political parties mean something and that should at least mean that you treat the candidates of your own party with a bit of respect, even if you don't support them.

It's not disloyalty, Allen. It's rather about dissing the candidate of your own party. Time to change parties.

Not; he's not the Senator from Jerusalem, even tho he thinks he is.
He embarrasses me. I'm sorry I went to the polls in person in ought double zero just to vote for him in peson. Cudda done it by mail. But nooooo; I had to vote in person for the first member of my tribe on a national ticket.
