Maybe he should be tossed out for bad judgment. He backed the obviously inferior candidate. Once he had to explain the difference between Sunni and Shia to McCain, he should have wised up and returned to the Dem fold. To keep standing behind McCain at every rally, grinning like a possum, was just ludicrous, I thought.

I can see that point, too. Lieberman presents a conundrum. On the one hand, I want to respect his independence. On the other, I think he's a douchebag.
