Excellent article- sent it to spouse, and he already has run in with thoughts about it.
I was a little puzzled at his dismissal of the technological revolution which seems huge to me.

Fascinating indeed, symmetry of that nature is hard to dismiss.

As for,
Their 72-year life span is divided into two 36-year periods (again, give or take a year -- this is not astrology

It may not be astrology but Fibonacci may have something to do with it - maybe the reason the years don't match up.
It might work if one looks at the 144 years as 89 and 55 or some other fib fractions.

Sounds far-fetched but as I posted earlier, from Independence to abolition of slavery was 89 years, to women's suffrage was 144 years and to the inauguration of the first black President is 233 years - all fib numbers. Pretty cool, eh?
