appreciate the message. i believe some shocking proportion of usa voters are of the persuasions that discourge thinking, and that is the systemic nature of training triumphing over education, dogma surging over thinking, and spin overpowering truth. no matter, time will tell and is acting. in the mean time, just in in-tray,

I just got back from Mustafa which is the largest Jeweller & Bullion dealer in Singapore & also in S-E Asia.

There was NOT 1 COIN/BAR in his shop. He sells Gold bars in pendant format, which too was out of stock. Last week when during Diwali I went to buy coins (buying GOLD in any form on Diwali is a tradition amongst most Indians) then too there were no coins (1oz or 2oz) so I had to buy in multiples of 20gms Pamp Suisse bars which were in not too large quantity
available.

His jewellery division which is spread over 2 floors is a sight to see (when any of u come to Singapore I shall be happy to take u there). Over 60% of his customers are Indian & mainland Chinese tourist. Today both the floors were full and not 1 salesman was free to talk.

Last week they exported 8tons of coins to India for Diwali.

I know the manager of the Gold division and he mentioned that they were trying to procure coins from Dubai next week but once they arrive he could not be sure how much comes in as supply is really tight.
