here is another opinion from you expressed elsewhere; Microsoft R&D has always seemed like a bad excuse or a bad attempt at doing real R&D. They seem to be treated as a huge ressource of knowledge, but knowledge is not what the world needs. It's overview and clear priorities. There are unlimited amounts of directions in which you can do research, but most of these directions are bad business. put these two opinions together...oila....we are left with..... (insert description based on available bandwidth) proceed to ignore button; as we can properly characterize a contagion which has escaped from one labratory or another.
