the posters here are too smart to fall for this claptrap. I am not going to rehash the specifics again for this oft quoted republican talking point (which obviously is no longer working). But some very obvious glaring issues: - Highly regressive FICA tax caps out at 103K of income (and the younger generation paying into it will get nothing out so it is only a tax) - no deductions on fica tax - capital gains where most wealthy get most of their money is taxed at lower than income etc

Where did they get their wealth from? Who built the railroads and highways. Obama has not said "spread the wealth" the way his opponents are saying he did. He talked about that with reference to make "spreading the chance at success" which is basically the opportunity to make money. youtube.com
