only if it is wasteful spending like this past 8 years. For example, although I don't like the 750 billion bailout, because I am a deficit hawk- I supported it, because I was told by some managers of companies I know that their credit lines were locked up and the whole system was shutting down. This bank bailout which added hugely to the debt was not CREATED by Pelosi and Reid. Yes they were in charge when it went through but it is an effect of legislation from long before. I do not blame Pelosi and Reid for this mess of a bank bailout.

Same with healthcare. If we have to spend a trillion to fix healthcare, which is probably correct, I will not complain because without a fix to healthcare, we will owe 32 TRILLION by the time I retire. There is no choice. It has to be done.

Compared to Bush's wasteful wars and spending on medicare drugs with NO PRICE CONTROLS, just to spend for spending sake so that his pork buddies can get rich, there is a big difference.

This is obvious to everybody but I have no doubt that you and Fox news will dwell on stupid soundbytes having nothing to do with the actualities of how our money was spent under Bush. You can gripe all you want though, the public "gets it"
