I have no trouble with existence of all kinds of religions and views, if they have no trouble with mine. IOW, if churches could stay devoted to their spiritual mission in their own flocks where people willingly accept their teachings, and keep their authoritarian mitts of the levers of secular powers, everything would be hunky-dory. But we are seeing how often social conservatives feel compelled to be social authoritarians who will dictate what others cannot do. At least social liberals are aiming for a world with more diversity and freedom, not less. Freedom used to matter more to people. It's sad to see the decay in that this decade.
