<No kidding? Heard the French, Russians, and Chinese all knew this as well.. Which was why they were so reluctant force Saddam to comply with binding UN resolutions. So reluctant that they were willing to render the UN impotent in order to advance their energy agenda.> My thoughts were you may have been hinting that the other nations may "take" that oil like the US tried had we not stepped in. Who is to say that the French, Russians, or China may not have tried to capitalize on Iraqi oil through normal trade channels?
