I wax nostalgic for a time when most people didn't work on Sundays and families were more able to all be together at one time and spend some quality time with each other, and you come back at me charging me as arrogant and wanting to make choices for everybody else.

I appreciate the nostalgia. There was much charm in slower times.

I did not interpret your post as simply waxing nostalgic. Given the context, I interpreted it as a regret over the loss of blue laws and advocacy for their re-imposition, which would be arrogant in that you think you know better than others how they should spend their Sundays and controlling in that you would restrict by law their options to spend time in their own choice of activity, such as shopping. If you are merely nostalgic about lazy Sundays but recognize the wrongness of blue laws, I retract my assertions.
