ya canada's taxes are ridiculous thats why they let anyone in here as long as they are educated and pay high taxes thru their profession, government is money hungry and cheap as hell! they will allow all kinds of house building and commercial but they will do the roads at the end, they would rather get land taxes for awhile before they have to lay down and improve any infrastructure, cheap mofos! GST is now 6% tho wooohooo! we pay 13% taxes on any goods or services here and income tax is about 25% after u put on your canada pension plan and unemployment insurance, also we pay about 500 a year for health care now, its not free anymore unless u are very poor and still i think they have to pay 100-300 a year for it very hard for young people to get started in this country, as they don't even use the health care system but they still get taxed for it, also if u dont have kids u still pay education taxes so other kids can go to school
