That article nailed the RW threads on SI, didn't it?
I am disturbed now by the fact that several have stated they won't give him a chance and how he should be treated the way Bush was.

But Bush WAS given a huge chance. His support after 9-11 was very strong, and it stayed that way for quite a while, until doubts and questions about his decisions re: Iraq arose. And then privacy. And then torture. And then the economy..hey, he earned that disrespect. And however I felt about Bush the man, I have always respected the office, and would never call him names.

The media has been all over O's Nancy Reagan mini-gaffe. I don't think he's going to get cut a lot of slack. I don't think he ever really did, for that matter, and agree with the author of that article that there wasn't much meat on those scandal bones.
When the RW media is calling names and already condemning him, it's a sad statement on its own character.

Still are:

When it didn't, they were left babbling about birth certificates and such just days before Obama won an electoral landslide.
