Tell me what an MD in Germany or the UK makes, and then try to tell me that an American MD would practice medicine for that (take off your hospital administrator hat for a moment). Atlas would shrug.

If any single payer system is attempted in the US, there will be a massive Cloward-Piven effort to break it. And it would break.
