No, but SAP is a big consumer of DBMS. For every installation they sell, they write a check to one of the major vendors (often for about 5-10% of the license amount). Since Oracle is the major supplier to SAP, that means growth in SAP sales implies continued growth of that stream to Oracle.

Nope, I think the rumour is Microsoft is working closely w/ Informix.
