Wrong again. Mazda was founded in 1920, Toyota in 1933, and Honda in the 1940's. Hyundai and Tata much more recent, but reinforce my point as they were created out of existing entities with big money. The point I'm trying to get across to you is that it requires BIG money to create a new car for the mass market. Since you seem to understand tech, perhaps you might think of what it would take to create a company to take on Intel in the MPU world... You are welcome to 'want' an electric car instead of that 'stupid' Honda Civic, but the mass market wants a fuel efficient car, and WON'T pay 45k when they can get the same FUNCTIONALITY for 17k, UNLESS gas soars well above 5/gallon or the government throws many BILLIONS at subsidizing all those buyers.
