You are freaking out over the giving of $5k welfare payments to Americans but you are perfectly fine with spending $10 billion per month for a war we shouldn't have started in the first place???

I am perfectly fine with the expenditure for the Iraq War because I understand the long-term implications. I recognize there are many of you who are totally ignorant of history and the circumstances that took us into the Iraq War, but I'm not.

The Iraq War was an unfortunate necessity. Luckily, we had a president who understood the importance of succeeding in Iraq.

By now, even Obama is starting to get the picture and realizes that the rate at which he draws down our involvement there must be dictated by the facts and circumstances in the region. Hopefully, at least, he now is starting to get it.
