In brief, Al, I think government's role ought to be limited. And such limitations ought to be very clear to the public. Saying that it's the government's job to take care of our elders is just asking for trouble. You may mean well, but what government program doesn't mean well? You can argue for an unlimited expansion of government social programs, paid for by the "rich." That's what I'm trying to express. Real limited government. Nothing wrong with safety net programs as long as the limits are clear. Same thing with the war on terrorism. The limits ought to be clear. Tenchusatsu
