David....lets assume that every CPU that INTC sells ends up in a PC....the PC usually comes with 32M DRAM. So if INTC sells 1,000 CPU's, then 32,000M of DRAM will be needed to stuff the PC's.

So, if INTC's CPU sales are slowing or demand is droping then DRAM needs for new PC's will also slow. DRAM for new PC's is a much bigger market than the upgrade market.
