Disconcerting element is opex is next week and usually they like to reverse the course sharply for the week. If we are pointed up already, is the reversal more down? Anyways, I am mostly long or long biased and hopign to catch these sharp bear market rallies to raise some cash to get ultra-shortish if market gains and vix shrinks. I don't think we get a lot of 'hope' for the season, with all the layoffs. It isn't so much just the person who was let go as having an impact. It affects their family, the coworkers who remain will tighten up, and the local community as they eat out less and use less personal services. The gas is encouraging, but...
