i may disagree with the bailout legislation, but i consider the performance at the hearing today a complete joke....

how many congressman showed up to question a treasury dept. underling/policy wonk tasked with administrating the biggest taxpayer bailout in history?

FOUR

how many showed up to question baseball players about steroids?

i dunno for sure, but i seem to recall at least TEN

so let's see....we get an all day NATIONALLY televised congressional hearing to grandstand a totally ridiculous, meaningless, but HIGHLY visible to the idiocracy.... hearing....oooh....steroids in baseball, can you believe it????

and then we have 4 lousy congressmen showing up to browbeat a treasury dept. wonk dealing with supposedly the greatest threat to our future prosperity since the great depression....

oh well, who cares, election ovah, right???

congress gave PAULSON the blank check and now we have a few 'brave souls' out there bemoaning the fact

this hearing today was a complete joke and guess what the joke is on us...

what a bunch of f'tards

we truly deserve what we get from these assholes....

we elected them

you know, i laughed at the depictions of mini-me along with everyone else when he first got appointed....but i'm beginning to feel sorry for the guy...

he didn't create this shitstorm and now he's the whipping boy for those who did
