ls, ad hominen is pretty lame.

i'm doing quite well, thank you.

i expect to pay a higher marginal rate than the folks not doing quite as well as i am, too. it doesn't make sense that warren buffet or paris hilton pays a lower tax rate than a middle class citizen, especially when they have so much money they get stupid with it and risk putting the middle class into a depression.

it's a rational continuum based on the idea that those who are more blessed (most are just lucky) ought to pay more into the system - after all, they benefit more from the system.

no jealousy here - just consistency and an expectation as I make significantly more money, my tax rate ought to increase, too.

i know asking you to actually *think* beyond the talking points of your party is asking too much, but sometimes miracles happen.

of course, government is at least 30% waste and that ought to be cut, too. it will never happen because the politicians are greedy just like so many of the uber rich.
