Knighty, that's the system and i hope it makes it everyone feels good when the world finally declares our carcass bankrupt.

i didn't say most of government was waste, but a lot is.

for example, i had a friend who contracted for the us government. the division he was contracted out to had extra funds toward the end of the year and decided to send him to a paid conference at the ritz carlton.

he didn't need to go, he learned little, he partied hard on the government tab and he got to hang at one of the more expensive hotels... all so a system of waste could continue to waste another year.

he told me about a whole lotta people doing little, but not ringing any bells lest their do little job come under scrutiny.

an audit was done about some of the parties and vacations government entities go on...

$4.77 per meatball... $700K per conference...

W.A.S.T.E.

in california the government expenditures are up about 30% in the last 5 years... most of it going to schools... which have a 6% lower enrollment.

W.A.S.T.E.

oh, and the $300 million failed payroll for la unified school district... W.A.S.T.E. to everyone except the guys raking in the millions in commissions and charging $200 an hour to screw up the programming.

has anyone been fired for spending that kind of wad with jacked results?

i don't know, but i'm willing to guess.
