In fairness, the kids didn't know what 'assassinate Obama' meant.....they overheard an adult say it and so they began chanting it. Come on Ted, that's exactly the way their parents were raised. What, you think they will grow up into rational? Grant Griffin, a 46-year-old white Georgia native, expressed similar sentiments: "I believe our nation is ruined and has been for several decades and the election of Obama is merely the culmination of the change --------------------------------------------------------- The fact they believe this way suggests they will stand in the way of progress all the way through the next few years. Duh. I'm not shocked, or even surprised that the latent redneck racism is coming to the surface. But it's hard to help being a little ashamed of your fellow citizens.
