To begin with, CBS has no viewership in the first place, their ranking is very low, about the worst of any broadcast network, so any minimal uptick that evening was a boom to that network...<g> Now, there was a large viewership that particular evening because everyone wants to make sure he keeps all his promises... unfortunately, he's not going to be able to keep very many of them... many who voted for him will be very disappointed when he backs out of his promises, voter remorse will set it very quickly soon thereafter, and then the honeymoon will be over... GZ
