Yes, they're buying hybrid engines from Toyota. They are doing that in an effort to play catch up. How much you want to bet they lose money every time they sell one of those hybrids?


Why would they bother? The answer, of course, is they wouldn't. Well, they're not losing any more than they're losing selling any other car.

Hell, they can pay TM a profit on the engines and still get them for less than they could build them themselves because TM doesn't have the union labor to deal with.
