Spek,

Do you think that DLR-Pb and HRP-pb have better chances than euro bank prefs (DCE, IDG, RBS-N, DCS-C)? Of course, they offer fatter yields than most of the euro bank prefs, but I'd like to know what's the probability of default/non payment vs. the euros.

Only selling today:

DLR-pb, UNH, IACI, STT - mostly when they were up early in the day, so I avoided some carnage. All but IACI were sold at a loss. All my picks seem to substantially underperform the SP500, even the supposedly economy insensitive plays like CAH and MCK. Obama health care plans? Can't see s connection with those particular ones, so it seems to me that the bear is just routing out the hiding places (relatively speaking) that are left. Down almost 5% today due to cash and some laggards like PM being a drag on my results <ng>.

Soon the ultrashort funds will be the largest asset class on the NY stock exchange and the default fund choice in 401K plans.
