Saying it over and over again in the most negative manner will insure that it comes true. True. But deflation ain't a good sign. I think they are flooding the markets with so much liquidity around the world that deflation is a minor problem at this point. One good thing about the current wave of deflation I saved money on my heating oil bill this year. Last year, when I ordered my oil the price was $3.59 per gallon. This year its $3.04 and going down. And just 4 months ago, they were talking about much higher heating bills. That coupled with lower gas prices will help people feel better about the economy going forward.
