Looking into VPRT... Vistaprint, though the stock is already down a lot it is a still a good short. VPRT lost an important patent case in the EU and recently Germany which will reduce their license revenue by an estimated 25%.

unitedprint complained bitterly about the usury licensing for somethign which shall be free and finally remained in court.

This is the highest patent court in germany and this fact has not been made public in the U.S., so its possibly not fully reflected in VPRTs stock price. I think that the stock could fade down to its cash value.

Earlier, the European court has repealed a part of the patent as well heise-online.co.uk

Welcome to the stock market of 2008, where no good purchase goes unpunished.

Seriously, have you ever seen a market like this, where the only things that go up are the short ETFs? It's not just a bear market, it's an outright nihilistic market. Nobody believes in anything, hard assets, soft assets, everything's being deemed worthless.

Bought, against better advice, BIDU (107), and Citigroup (5.50)

Stop: BIDU 100 (lol) and Citigroup, well, 0.

Bill, I've been tracking FCX along with KBR, CHK and others, they are tempting for a bite, but with today's news on gas CHK took another dive. I'm trying to be patient, but I really don't know when to dive in on these as this market doesn't show much rationality at all these days.

Regards,
John

Treasuries went ballistic... up 4 points alone, today and 10 points in a week. Now what? Refinancing US debt can be tricky at such a low rate.

FCX...taking profits on a bit, now that it's up 50% in a relatively short time.
