I was thinking of the flip side of all the trading desks getting out of the oil market. Who is going to stop OPEC from jacking up prices when it goes the other way? The delevering has been vicious on the downside, but what happens when OPEC cuts another 2 mbd? Eventually, OPEC will cut enough production to jack up crude prices.

I have a better idea of the challenge ahead of us with fossil fuels after watching this 8 part lecture.

I would recommend that most of you watch this when you have an hour to invest. The really smart people on this site can skip it because you probably already know this stuff already, but some of it opened my eyes and I have a different fudamental feeling about energy after watching it.

The professor might have an agenda, but much of his content about exponential growth is worth listening to.

The link for each subsequent part of the lecture is available directly below the video window.

I would enjoy hearing your response to the lecture.
