CH:

There are probably a thousand better short candidates than CREAF. Check-out some that are trading at 50+x earnings for a start <ggg>.

Just some helpful advice. Shorting CREAF may place your financial health in danger.

CHIP,

I often go short myself. However, I usually choose stocks with an even bigger runnup and with higher PE's and Price to Sales ratios. When people use stock screens to find value stocks in the up coming months it'll consistantly quote CREAF. I think the time to short CREAF would be after the Christmas runnup which is traditionally the strongest quarter. I would look to short LCOS or YHOO before CREAF but it's you money. Regarding bullish vs bearish sentiment. I would hazard to say everyone is a bull. Maybe on this tread, but you saw how creaf retraced from 27 recently all the way down to 20. I would say there WERE alot of bears until today.

I can't say good luck because I would like it to go to 30 first and then take some profits, but I respect your opinion.

Jim

Chip,

Did you do any fundamental analysis on CREAF before shorting? The biggest bears I've seen on this stock so far have not had the nerve to short it because of the fundamentals.

You may well make a couple points on your short.

BUT based on earnings growth alone, and no increase in what is a low PE valuation, you just exposed yourself to 12 points or more of losses.

BTW, wanna play poker sometime?

Chip Hunter, are you for real to short CREAF?
