Ted, > I never said your job was easy. I just said you don't know what it is to work hard.

Everyone works hard in one way or another. Whether it's a job behind a computer screen, or on the assembly line, whether you're flying all over the place for business or driving an 18-wheeler, you put your time, effort, and skills into your work. My boss always tells me, "If it were easy, anyone could do it."

But how about working smarter? How about actually competing instead of asking for more and more handouts so that both management and the unions can reward themselves for a job poorly done?

By the way, have you heard or read about the BMW plant in Leipzig? I was fortunate enough to have visited this plant in person. Quite a modern technological achievement in manufacturing:

Tell me how the US auto industry plans on competing against that before telling me how tough it is for someone to make $56K on a job that requires no college education.
