Ted, if you think the problem is overconsumption (and I'm not disagreeing with you), then the best remedy for that would be a prolonged recession.

I don't think we have a choice......we are in a recession.

Yet you are not only against that, but you are for the government doing everything in its power to cut it off via stimulus and bailout.

I want the stimulus to prevent a depression. I recession is a given.

So other than a nanny state, what do you think ought to be the "cure" for overconsumption?

Only ideologues believe gov'ts providing econ. stimulus is a nanny state.
