Had to go back to work - missed the afternoon crash. No big deal, after a while they all look the same... -g After the incredible acceleration of the past 3 months one couldn't even use a trendline like on that 1929-32 chart. Even the relatively sensitive 13 week moving average on the weekly is some 70 SPX points above today's close. 50 wk is all the way up at 1245. Dunno... must admit I don't find it easy to play. I closed my last meaningful shorts on Oct 10, and since then did very little in the markets. In any case, SP did not do much since Oct 10. It was for the most part sideways action, with a little downward drift. Except that it was sickeningly volatile in smaller time frames.
