It's almost funny to look back now but during WWII we produced all of our own oil and exported to all of our allies to keep them running too.

My how times have changed.

Virtually all of our military presence over there is to protect our access to oil. Of course we are providing "cover" for Israel but it hardly requires any compared to the "oil problem".

Man, I will be so happy when we burn most of this stuff up so we can move forward....
