Thanks Buddy, you just registered one vote for fool.

I know it is difficult for you to process things that don't carry the NYTimes stamp of approval, so I understand why you were incapable of processing it.

Self interest does not invalidate scientific research. If we used your logic no new drugs would ever be allowed.

Except for the Radio Talk Show guy out flogging his own financial interests, as anyone would expect him to?

Potential or actual bias doesn't invalidate arguments. It could reasonably mean (particularly if you don't share the same bias) that you would reject him as an authority in an argument for authority. That you wouldn't accept what he says just because he says it. (Which would often be the case even without evidence of bias, but would obviously be more so if you can show the person making the claims is biased), but in this case the data presented is from a professional polling organization, not his own claims. That doesn't mean its automatically correct, but it probably shouldn't be casually dismissed as wrong.

Of course not being wrong, doesn't necessarily imply its very significant. As you pointed out earlier a survey of McCain voters might find similar results. Arguably it just shows general voter ignorance, rather than particular ignorance from Obama voters.
